Belle Dang

Doctoral Researcher

Belle Dang is a researcher at the Learning & Educational Technology Research Unit (LET) at the University of Oulu, where she focuses on the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and education. With a background in education and a Master’s in Arts (Education) from the same institution, her work investigates how AI can enhance learning environments, particularly through understanding and supporting how learners regulate their own learning processes. Before pursuing her current academic path, she earned my Bachelor's degree from the Business School at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK. Her business background has shaped her interest in conducting research that not only advances theoretical understanding but also has practical applications with real-world impact.

Her current research explores the use of AI-driven analytics to gain deeper insights into these regulation processes, aiming to create more personalized and effective learning experiences. She is also expanding my interests to include extended reality (XR), exploring how immersive technologies can further revolutionize the educational landscape.

Key areas of my research include:  AI in Education (AIED); Learning Regulation and Self-Regulation; Collaborative Learning Models; Data Analytics in Education; Emerging Technologies like Extended Reality (XR) for Learning
